Features Overview

Main features of Onoma cover any registry or registrar

onoma.epp

Onoma provides an EPP server implementation fully conforming to RFC 5730, 5731, 5732, 5733, 5734, 5910, 3915 and with the ability to scale well in a high transaction volume environment. The server also supports various EPP extensions, unlimited running instances for load balancing, client authentication with certificate and limitation of available connections per registrar.

The server can also operate in an EPP proxy mode, which allows registries that do not support the protocol to provide an EPP based solution for their registrars.

onoma.whois

Our solution is a high-performance whois server that has its own copy of the registry database in order to be isolated and to be more secure from the main system. The output follows the ICANN requirements for new TLDs but can be customized to any taste.

Supported modes are port 43, port 80/443 and the new RDAP format. Data can be protected with captcha and hourly query limits.

The server can also operate in a WHOIS proxy mode, which allows registries that do not support the protocol to provide a WHOIS solution for their registrars.

onoma.db

Onoma uses PostgreSQL 9.6.3 database with modern design allowing it to operate in both registry and registrar modes. The system is hosted in a datacenter with the highest security level, and also replicated to two additional datacenters on top of the daily backups.

onoma.cp

The control panel provides registrars with standard operations to create, view, update and- delete domains, contacts, name servers and more. A billing and invoicing module is included that allows registrars to receive and pay monthly invoices.

You can also edit the system configuration settings in a user-friendly mode and to do the initial configuration of your TLD or registrar via an easy to use wizard. A ticket tracking system is also included through which the registry can provide registrars with support on different cases.

onoma.cp

onoma.zone

Onoma offers zone generation with near real-time updates. DNSSEC signing is provided by OpenDNSSEC 2.1.3 with SoftHSM 2.3.0 or hardware HSM, depending on customer wishes.

Onoma can implement only the DNSSEC signing solution to work together with your existing software and allow you to enjoy the DNSSEC benefits in a very short time.

We work with several DNS cloud providers and Onoma can be connected to their systems. We also anticipate development of our own DNS cloud, available for public use in the Spring of 2018.

onoma.zone

onoma.report

The module provides mandatory monthly activity and transaction reporting according to the ICANN requirements. Onoma can also export registration statistics and trends for the registry or registrar website, accessible via remote API.

An additional DNS zone analysis system is available and in conjunction with SenseiStats can be used for deeper insight into the registered domains. Onoma also provides a compilation of tools for DNS zone analisys, statistics and DNSSEC monitoring.

onoma.report

onoma.client

Onoma provides an EPP implementation for PHP 7.1, that can be used as basic client for Onoma Registry or various other registries - all you need is to input your registar credentials and certificate if needed. You can integrate onoma.client to your system as a class.

onoma.client

onoma.escrow

Most gTLD registries and all registrars are required by ICANN to make daily escrow deposits of the critical data. Onoma provides the ability to send data to a third-party escrow provider according to draft-arias-noguchi-registry-data-escrow-08.

The following providers are supported in a registry mode: NCC Group, DENIC and Iron Mountain. The latter is exclusively supported in a registrar mode.

onoma.escrow

Onoma is fully compliant with the ICANN Trademark Clearinghouse and draft-ietf-regext-tmch-func-spec-03 for both registry and registrar modes.

onoma.tmch
